The G1 web browser works great. It would have been a bit better if it would turn sideways when the phone is rotated. The browser itself functions well though. The zoom feature is easy to use and most links are very easy to click on. The track ball really helps when selecting smaller links. Another great feature of this browser is the ability to open multiple browsers one different sites. You can also set a home page and bookmarks of your favorite websites. One thing missing is Flash animation from the browser. I have heard some talk the Adobe is releasing Flash for the Android platform but I have not heard a date that it might happen. One thing is for sure, this browser is a huge step up from Windows mobile browsers from the past. Browser speed seems good even over the edge network. Since 3G is not everywhere yet its nice to know you can still load up a site when your not in a 3g market. You may have also noticed how hard it is to find a good Wifi that is not password protected.
